Daniel Hearn's original music has been compared to a car crash between Death Cab for Cutie and Jack Johnson. His lyrics, which range from satirical to serious to downright silly, might appeal to fans of Alec Benjamin, Bo Burnham, Ben Folds and Kacey Musgraves.
He is a classically trained pianist, singer, guitarist, and composer, and also plays ukulele, mandolin, drums, bass, and violin. His choral compositions have been performed by choirs in the US and in Spain, and he is currently the organist at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Newnan, GA. He has studied classical guitar in Spain with Pedro Jesús Gómez, and the Bel Canto singing technique with Jeando Masoero. Although he primarily teaches one on one, he also has experience with group lessons at music camps and schools both in the US and abroad. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology from GA State University, and has been teaching since 2015.
As a supporting artist, he has played keyboards with Mark Eliot, Ron Dennis, Chelsea Shag, Subject To Change, The Ain't Sisters, and the Atlanta Rock n' Roll Allstars.
